Getting an MBA degree can be expensive. If you don't have the money or the time to enroll in a formal program, you may want to consider taking a few courses online. There are several colleges, universities, and business schools that provide free MBA-caliber courses to self-learners. These courses cannot be taken for credit, but they do provide the opportunity to learn more about the business world. Here are 15 free online MBA courses to try today:

Intro to Business Cultures - This free online course from the UK's Open University explores the culture and identity of different businesses. The course takes approximately four hours to complete.

Fundamentals of Business Analysis - The University of California-Irvine provides a number of free online courses for business professionals, including this business analysis course. The course includes seven separate lessons and a final assignment.

International Business - The University of Michigan offers a comprehensive course on international business for self-learners. Course topics include international finance, risk mitigation, risk assessment, financial planning, short-term financing, and long-term financing.

Small Business Tax - This free online course from the Small Business Development Center of Kutztown University provides a great introduction to small business tax. The course includes ten self-guided lessons that can be completed at your own pace.

Introductory Probability and Statistics for Business - The University of California-Berkeley offers this free online course to business students who would like to familiarize themselves with probability and statistics. The course includes nearly 50 audio and video lectures.

Financial Markets - This free online course from Yale University covers the theory of finance and delves into the workings of financial institutions. The course includes audio lectures, video lectures, and lecture transcripts.

Economics - Carnegie Mellon University provides this open and interactive course on their Open Learning Initiative website. The course includes a collection of online economics experiments as well as an online workbook.
