School Overview
The Booth School of Business (University of Chicago), the second oldest business school in the U.S., is located in Chicago, Illinois. Besides its presence in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago on the main university campus, the school also has campuses in downtown Chicago on the Magnificent Mile, London and Singapore. It remains the only U.S. business school which has permanent campuses on three continents: North America (since 1898), Europe (since 1994), and Asia ( since 2000). In 2008, the school got its current name on receipt of a $300 million endowment gift by one of its alumnus David G. Booth.
Booth School of Business offers MBA Programs that are Full-time, Part-time (Evening as well as Weekend), and also Executive MBA programs. It was the first business school which introduced an Executive MBA program and also a Ph.D. program in Business. Some of its alumni include Philip J. Purcell, Jon Corzine, John Meriwether, John Watson, Tom Schoewe, etc.
