School Overview
Formed in 1969, the Fuqua School of Business (Duke University) is a prominent U.S. business school situated in Durham, North Carolina. MBA Programs at Fuqua include - the Full-time MBA, the Global Executive MBA, the Cross Continent MBA and the Weekend Executive MBA. The Full-time MBA program offers specializations such as Decision Sciences, Energy and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Financial Analysis, Leadership and Ethics, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Social Entrepreneurship, and Strategy.
In early 1980s, the school's name was changed to the Fuqua School of Business on receipt of $10 million from businessman and philanthropist J.B. Fuqua (Fuqua never went to college to get a formal higher education and used to borrow books from the school's library at Duke University as a teenage student).
