School Overview
The Kenan-Flagler Business School (University of North Carolina) at Chapel Hill, North Carolina is one of the top 20 U.S. business schools since 1919. It offers Full Time MBA, Evening/Weekend MBA and OneMBA Global for Executives. The school offers specialization in Customer and product management, Corporate finance, Entrepreneurial studies, Global supply chain management, Investment management, Management consulting, Real estate and Sustainable enterprise. It was the first school to promote the use of study groups.
In 1991, the school got its current name after honoring 2 well-known American business families and patrons of the School: philanthropist Mary Lily Kenan Flagler and her husband, Henry Morrison Flagler. Frank Hawkins Kenan, a Kenan family member and patron of one of the School's Institutes had donated generously to the business school and hence the renaming. Kenan-Flagler School believes in giving back to the society at large through its research, education and community leadership. The Kenan-Flagler School also assists business and government in dealing with issues having impact on society.
