School Overview

The MIT Sloan School of Management is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was established in 1925. It offers a Full-time as well as Executive MBA Program to its students. The school got its name from its alumnus Alfred P. Sloan, Jr. (chairman of General Motors) who sponsored and helped in creation of Sloan Fellows, world's first university-based executive education program in 1931. The Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) Program at MIT Sloan was launched in 2006 for entrepreneurs within the MBA degree, with special focus on emerging technology ventures.
