Dr. Anurag Mairal
Dr. Mairal is the Founder and CEO of Gurome (previously TestPundit). Concurrently, he is an Associate Director at the Stanford India Biodesign at Stanford University. He is also the Co-Founder of South Asian MBA Association (SAMBAA), a global network of MBAs with interest in South Asia. Dr. Mairal serves on the boards of several for-profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to this, Dr. Mairal was a Product Director at Cordis and a Business Development Director at Johnson and Johnson. Dr. Mairal has received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ravishankar University, Raipur; a Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay; and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he pursued graduate research in membrane separations. Dr. Mairal was also a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Twente, Netherlands and at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Mairal has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Mairal scored 770 on his GMAT exam and has over 5 years of experience teaching for GMAT. He has a passion to teach and help his students excel. When not teaching, he can sometimes be seen mentoring and advising groups of students at a neighborhood coffee shop.
Dr. Rahul Gupta
Dr Gupta is an alumnus of the TestPundit Intensive session and scored 770 on his GMAT. He worked with a Nobel Laureate (Dr. Alan Heeger) to get his PhD in Materials Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is currently a Program Manager for New Technology Development at AKT (a division of Applied Materials).
Tejas Saraiya
Currently working as the Director of Product Marketing at Simply Hired, Tejas was also a co-founder of TestPundit. Having scored a 760 on his GMAT, he is currently working through his MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. In the past, Tejas has held Product Management positions at PayPal and co-founded Propensys Group. Tejas completed his B.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley. When asked why he likes teaching the GMAT Tejas says, "The b-school admissions process is a pivotal time in most peoples' lives. For me it was the first time I sincerely reflected upon my accomplishments and my professional values. I wanted to help others reach their goals by making the most of that journey.". In his spare time, Tejas enjoys playing tennis and golf and pretty soon will be spending time with a newborn!
